About
Hi! My name is Mrs. Maxwell and I am excited to be St. Christina's fourth grade homeroom teacher. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with a Mathematics minor from Saint Mary's College, Notre Dame, IN and my Master's Degree in Pastoral Studies (Theology) from Loyola University Chicago. The Catholic faith and Catholic education are very dear to me. In the past I have taught junior high math; third, fourth, and fifth grade self-contained classes; second through eighth grade reading and math remediation and enrichment; and high school theology. In addition, I have worked as a coordinator of religious education and a high school youth minister. My husband teaches Math and coaches soccer at Marist High School, and our two children Grace (eighth grade) and Patrick (sixth grade) attend Most Holy Redeemer School in Evergreen Park. I look forward to partnering with parents to ensure a successful school year for each student. I feel very blessed to be here and will be keeping you and your children in my prayers. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns at [email protected] or (773) 445-2969.
